Suzanne & David's Wedding, Twin Peaks, San Francisco, CA

Um, so there are hardly any words for how rad this wedding was. Suzanne and I met through my commercial photography life, and since then she has become a close ally and friend. I sincerely believe that Suzanne's creative energy and vision is unlike anyone I have ever met. She brings art to everything she touches, so I knew her wedding would be like no other. I was not disappointed.

Suzanne promised me that her dress was going to be unique, and yeah a paper dress is exactly that. As an homage to Vivienne Westwood's couture, and in a close collaboration with her family, including David's daughter Scarlett, Suzanne created a drop dead gorgeous dress. This strapless work of art flowed remarkably like fabric and was lined with colorful drawings that danced as she walked. It was a marvel. I'll never forget David's face as Suzanne walked to meet him, so full of surprise and love that it was palpable. Their choice of ceremony venue was also perfectly fitting, sitting like a dove atop the city of San Francisco on a closed chunk of Twin Peaks road. It was such a remarkable wedding, and Suzanne & David are a beautiful pair, harmoniously complementary. I really can't wait to see how they grow their lives together!
