Blair and Derek, Sunol Valley Resort, Sunol

Blair and Derek were referred to me from Tara and Alex, a couple I photographed the year before. Happily, it was an instant and awesome connection. From their beautiful and creative engagement session to their elegant wedding, I had a blast photographing the two of them. Even though this was a spring wedding, we had beautiful weather. Blair was stunning in a beaded dress that sparkled in every light.

Molly and Ben, The DeYoung Museum, San Francisco

When Molly and Ben called the DeYoung Museum to see what the venue's availability was, they were as surprised as I was to discover that the museum had Cinco De Mayo free! I knew this venue to be a photographic cornucopia, so I was extremely excited to photograph their wedding right from the start. Jane Hammond Events handled the details of the wedding perfectly. I especially loved the florals, although the food was to die for (two helpings of their truffle mac and cheese!) In the end, it was a gorgeous event; a truly beautiful day that fell into a beautiful night with a high full moon.

Blair and Derek's Engagement Shoot, Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, CA

Blair and Derek had their engagement shoot at the scenic San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge.  They wanted a distinct 1920's era feel to their photos, so I suggested the timeless Fort Point.  We shot these photos at sunset, with the back drop of the old architecture adding to the thematic feel.  This dynamic couple had no trouble getting into to character for this special shoot. I loved Blair's fur wrap, which was given to her by her mother. The vintage style fur wrap was all the rage in the roaring 20's and was famously worn by everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Jackie O. Check out other beautiful vintage fur stoles.
