I had a really really tough time choosing images for my blog for this wedding. I loved this wedding sooooo much. Not only was it just a gorgeous wedding, with beautiful dynamic people, but it was so much fun, I just wanted to try and show how much fun I had! Colleen and Tommy, my wonderful bride and groom, came to me as a referral from Leilani and Matt Drost, a couple whose Halloween themed wedding I photographed a few years ago. Leilani and Matt, incidentally, introduced Colleen and Tommy to each other, and when sparks flew, love was born, a marriage plan was made and my adorable Leilani said: "Hire Sonia!" And man, am I glad she did, I was just over the moon with this wedding. The details from the shoes to the bouquets, by Precious and Blooming in Los Gatos, and the ambiance of the San Juan Bautista Mission, were all awe inspiring. Colleen was a knock out, she and Tommy were so much fun to shoot, just like in their engagement session; playful and sooo sweet. Their whole wedding party (including Leilani and Matt) we're such awesome sports, and we got some great pictures because of it. Oh and the Stormtrooper outfits used for my traditional 'closing shot of the night' were priceless! Seriously I could go on, but I'll stop. Thank you to two of the raddest wedding couples I've had the pleasure of working for!
