Ashley & Will were referred to me by a book club buddy of mine. After meeting them, I could see that we had a lot in common, especially in regards to literature. As it was, the wedding was a devine pleasure to shoot for this amazingly creative and fun couple. It was also a bonus to work with Jane Hammond Events and the Golden Gate Club again. Jane always has a way of putting ideas in motion and did a wonderful job for Ashley & Will. Inspired by the pages of Shakespeare, Ashley & Will wanted to surround their guests with sentiments of love and poetry, and so their day was inundated in literary romance. Ashley even had a phrase from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night in her veil! My favorite detail, however, was an on-the-spot poet, which lent a completely unique flare to the entertainment. I loved shooting with Sam Maller (rising star photographer) at Fort Point. The light that day was a dream come true, and the Golden Gate Bridge has never looked better. From top to toe this was a gorgeous day; with great adventure, depth of spirit, and bare foot love.
